Catherine Meyer was a LIMS Trustee. She is a Conservative Peer in the House of Lords and founder and President of Action against Abduction.

Baroness Meyer

The Baroness Meyer CBE is a former Trustee of the London Institute. She is a British life peer and campaigner best known for her work on international child abduction and child protection. She co-founded the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children and, in 2000, established PACT (now Action Against Abduction). A published author and frequent speaker, she continues to champion children’s rights and cross-border family justice through global partnerships and charitable initiatives. She was appointed to the House of Lord in 2018. From 2020 to 2024, she served as Trade Envoy to Ukraine for the British government. Outside public life, she remains active in philanthropy and global child welfare initiatives. She holds a degree in Russian Regional Studies from UCL.
