As well as a LIMS governor, Tom Walton Pocock founded Geometry, an investment firm backing companies building at the frontiers of computing.

Tom Walton Pocock is a governor at the London Institute and co-founder of deep tech investment firm Geometry. Following a BA and Part III in mathematics at Cambridge, he worked in investment banking, before founding Aztec in 2017 and serving as CEO. Aztec is a leading cryptography company based in London, enabling private software to run on public blockchain technologies, analogous to SSL for the early internet. In 2021 he formed Geometry in collaboration with Brevan Howard to back companies building at the frontiers of computing, with particular interests in optoelectronics, next-generation hardware and cryptography systems. He is a member of leading investment group Cambridge Angels.
