Alana Ker Mercer Office coordinator

Alana Ker Mercer is the office coordinator at the London Institute. She studied English Literature at Durham University. While at Durham she also worked as a writer and editor for the Palatinate newspaper, with a focus on sports coverage. She went on to do an MPhil in History of Art at Trinity College Dublin, writing her dissertation on women engravers working for the Golden Cockerel Press. Since then, Alana has worked at Woolley & Wallis auctioneers in the Asian Art department, where she assisted in the sale of the scroll collection of Lord Wavell, the penultimate Viceroy of India.

She is also a keen sportswoman who has competed internationally at hockey and enjoys open water swimming and trail running.
