Katya Gorbiatouk
As well as a LIMS governor, Katya Gorbiatouk is a capital markets executive and the Head of Investment Funds at the London Stock Exchange.

Katya Gorbatiouk is a governor at the London Institute and a capital markets executive. Born and brought up in Ukraine, she moved to New York after winning a scholarship to study there. She went on to pursue a career in investment banking, working in London and New York for Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Barclays. Gorbatiouk is now Head of Investment Funds in Capital Markets at the London Stock Exchange. She serves on advisory bodies of the regulator FRC, the Investor & Issuer Forum and the IR Society. Her work is fuelled by her belief in the power of capital markets to be a force for innovation, growth and progress. In 2023, she was made a Freeman of the City of London.
