Florian Schuster

Florian Schuster is a LIMS Trustee. An investor and entrepreneur, he advises on financial strategy, promotes our values and raises funding.

Florian Schuster is a Trustee at the London Institute. After studying physics at TU Graz and doing an MSc at Stanford University’s School of Engineering, he went into banking. During his career, he worked as an investment banker at UBS in London, was part of the founding team of an investment bank in the Middle East, served as CFO for Tessa Therapeutics in Singapore, which created cell therapies for cancer, and co-founded the Cambridge cell coding firm Bit.Bio, which aims to revolutionise biomedicine by cell reprogramming. As a Trustee, Mr Schuster contributes to our financial strategy, promotes our values, and helps us secure funding for the Institute and its trading arm LIMS Ventures.
