Evgeny Sobko
Dr Sobko is a Landau Fellow at LIMS. His research focuses on exactly solvable models in quantum field theory and string theory.
Dr Evgeny Sobko is a Landau Fellow at the London Institute. He earned his MSc in theoretical physics at the Peter the Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University and went on to do his PhD at Paris's École Normale Supérieure working on the integrability in N=4 SYM. Since then, Dr Sobko held a GATIS postdoc fellowship, joining the GATIS Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action in the DESY theory group in Hamburg, and did postdocs at Nordita Stockholm and Southampton University, before working as a researcher at the Euler International Mathematical Institute in St Petersburg. He founded and now co-runs the London Integrability Journal Club, which is the leading international seminar on integrability.
He works on exactly solvable models in quantum field and string theory, with an emphasis on integrable models and conformal field theories.
