Vyacheslav Lysov

Dr Lysov is an Arnold Fellow at LIMS. His work focuses on tropical mirror symmetry, supersymmetric localisation and asymptotic symmetries.

Dr Vyacheslav Lysov is an Arnold Fellow at the London Institute. He studied at the Physics and Technology Lyceum at Kherson in Ukraine, winning a gold medal at the 32nd International Physics Olympiad. He studied physics and mathematics at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, where he became a member of the Theoretical Physics group at the Landau Institute for Theoretical Physics, and also a member of the string theory study group at ITEP. Dr Lysov moved to Harvard to do his PhD, which was on fluid/gravity correspondence. Since then, he has done postdocs at Caltech, where he was awarded the Sherman Fairchild Scholarship, and at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology.

Dr Lysov works on mathematical physics, in particular tropical mirror symmetry, supersymmetric localisation and asymptotic symmetries.
