Fractals, materials, mechanical and thermal properties of fractal structures, dynamics of innovation
Farr studied physics at Cambridge, where he won the Clerk Maxwell University Prize for physics, and stayed on to do his Ph.D. at the Cavendish Laboratory. For the last 12 years he was a Senior Research Scientist at Unilever. Concurrently, Farr held a number of visiting appointments at British universities, including Nottingham. He is a Visiting Researcher at the London Institute.
